My weekend was spent doing a lot of anatomy in preparation for the first exam this coming Saturday. Therefore, I do not have a lot to blog about as far as the weekend goes, unless you are interested in hearing all about the endocrine system of the body. I think it is safe to say that you aren't so I will mostly skip over my uneventful weekend. The most exciting part of the weekend was that the weather got into the 60's and we have had nothing but sunshine and blue skies the past few days. I was able to study outside with Jay-Z by my side and wear flip flops and capris!
Monday Katie and I presented our second expose for our Art in History class, and that went pretty good. We did not get to go to Nadine's for lunch this past Monday because Nadine is away. Other than art class, once again, most of my day was spend studying for anatomy. I know, fun right?
Yesterday we had French. We had our first quiz, and we haven't gotten those grades yet so I'm not sure how it went yet. We also had pilgrimage class last evening. Between those two classes, I sat outside and studied in the bright sunshine.
Today we traveled to Moissac for our pilgrimage class. It was about 2 hours from Ambialet. There we went to the Saint-Pierre abbey. We then went and had a picnic lunch over the river. From there we went to Montauban, a city, where we had almost 2 hours of free time. We did some shopping (I didn't buy anything this time), had hot white chocolates at a cafe, and walked around the city. It was a lot of fun and I really liked it in Montauban. When we arrived back at the monastery this evening, I walked in, and the first thing I saw was a package waiting for me from home. It was great to get a package from home and I love everything my Mom and Dad sent me. I got a lot of Valentines day goodies including Sweetarts heart gunnies, lemonade, coffee, hot chocolate, and cappuccino mixes, white chocolate Reeses, peanut butter crackers, and a card from everyone at home, including Macie and Sadie! Like I said before, it was great to get a package! Thanks mom and dad!
Tonight I have French study table, then dinner, then studying more anatomy. Tomorrow we travel to Albi once again for French class. Then we have a wine tasting later on in the day. I hope everyone is having a good week so far! I'm headed to study table!
