Gaillac/Wine Tasting

This week went really fast and it is hard to believe that tomorrow is Friday already. We had a birthday party today during French class for Angela. The one French professor made two kinds of cake for her birthday. After French class, we went to Gaillac, a major wine region, to a museum and learned about how wine is made and a little about the history of Gaillac.

This evening we hosted French students at the monastery who are learning how to make wine, and they did a wine tasting for us. We had small glasses of white, pink, and red wine to try. I really liked the white wine. We then had dinner with the French students. Bernard fixed a big buffet for us! It was a good experience to get to meet other students from around the area.

Now that the day is coming to an end, it is once again time to study anatomy and get ready for the test in two days. We leave for Barcelona Wednesday so I have a lot of work to get done before then.

Have a good weekend everyone!
